Examine the back of the radio very carefully. There has to be a battery compartment and it’s usually on the back. But it’s possible it’s on the bottom of the radio. Look at the bottom as well. I’ve heard that some of the 250 battery covers were very hard to open so be careful but if you see something that might be the battery cover keep working at it.
