How to install two way radio in a bus?

two way radio
ale h asked:

What type of two way radio would i have to buy to put into the bus? The range would only need to be 15 kilometres, but preferably no less than this. I know that the quoted range on radios depends on buildings and terrain so would i have to invest in a longer range radio in order to reach my desired 15 kilometres of range ?
