What kind of Professional 2-Way Radios would be best for a church?

2 way radios
eli.patterson asked:

I am head of technology at my church, and we are wanting to get a set of professional 2-way radios. We need them to work both in the church as well as when groups from the church go on trips (ie: youth ski trip). I would like to either get motorola or kenwood, but i would love to know which models would work best, and how much I would be looking at spending…

Thanks,
Eli

Motorola is the cadillac of radios. You can get them cheap on E bay. Some good models ( used ) - Sp-50, P1225.Some recent models are cp250. Stay away from gp300 and p110 as they are pretty old and no longer supported by motorola. If you need any help as you get closer to your decision feel free to e mail me
